Midstream o la corriente del medio se refiere a un lugar en el que el sujeto se coloca como observador de la realidad y no como actor, en lugar por el que el agua fluye con fuerza pero no arrastra, en el ojo del huracán donde reina una calma misteriosa.

Midstream refers to a place in which the subject places himself vis-à-vis reality as an observer rather than an actor, a place in the midst of the current, through which water flows but does not carry you away, in the eye of the hurricane, presided by a mysterious calm.
